What do you think is the best solo (or close to it) acoustic song?

Gotta say Tears in Heaven by Clapton, but I like a couple of City and Color's songs.

I disagree. Bananas and ass are like peaches and cream.

I'm glad city & colour is gaining a wider audience; Dallas Green has such an amazing voice.

Eternal by P.O.D. and Ocean by John Butler Trio are amazing acoustic instrumentals.

ok
here's what you do
1. Take a fork, preferably metal.
2. Put some tomato sauce on it.
3. Let tomato sauce on fork dry.
4. Turn it in and call it: "The Spaghetti Massacre."

Pallar Anders Visa by In Flames and Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd are pretty good.

Over the hills and far away - Zeppelin

I like this one, same with White Summer, I dunno if the acoustic version was by Led Zeppelin or The Yardbirds though.

Lots of Heart is worthy on a solo acoustic.

They're not usually recorded that way, though.

eh,
i'm trying to find a song that I can learn within the next 3 months for this show. so far I have tears in heaven down perfectly (i'm even improving on the solo), but thats about it.

+1 to whoever said Dee by Randy Rhoads.

Also

Three E's for Edward by Paul Gilbert
Benighted by Opeth
Air by Jason Becker (I'm pretty sure the first part is acoustic, the rest is clean tone electric, but either way, one of my all time favorite songs.)
Usher Waltz by Nikita Koshkin

I'm sure I could keep thinking of more if I wanted.

I'd have to say...

"Vitamins V" or "Hope" by Kristin Hersh...

...or anything by Kristin Hersh, actually.
I'm not cool.
