I'm selling a few bits on ebay and thought I might pick one of these toys up with the profits.

I had the CD one they did and whilst it was ok the quality of the sound got pretty crap when you slowed it down.

I use Amazing SlowDowner on my PC for slowing down tracks but this new Tascam gadget appeals to me as I'd be able to use it anywhere.

Have any of you guys got one of these? Are they any good?

I have one, but I haven't had the chance to use it too much.

When slowing songs down, it sounded ok (as ok as an MP3 can sound) to a point. I can't remember the setting, but once I slowed the song down past the 3rd or 4th increment (whatever increments they use), there was a very pronounced warble.

I don't know if there is anything better out there, but for what I was doing, I could work through with the warble. I don't know how it would do with a long shredding type solo.
