Hi I was wondering which is better. The Boss DS-1 or DS-2?

its probably a no-brainer but i wanted to ask ppl from UG who actually have a clue.

thanks

ds-2

it has 2 settings on it and one of them sounds identical to the ds-1

so its kinda a 2 for 1 deals

07 Fender American Deluxe Strat
07 Fender Custom Telecaster
09 Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
09 Fulltone OCD V.4
10 Ibanez WH-10 V.2
09 Splawn SuperStock
10 Jet City JCA-20
97 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

Yeh the SICK! bit sounds a bit stupid.

I think it's really a matter of Opinion between those two, some say that the DS-2 is great, but some say that the DS-1 is way better, and don't bother with the DS-2

I myself like the DS-2, but the DS-1 is great too.

I also prefer the DS-2. I think they both can be a little harsh though. The DS-2 has the 2 settings as already mentioned which gives much more tonal diversity.

Although I'm not a fan of either, the DS-2 was better all around.

Overdrive is in most cases better sounding than distortion. and boss makes really crappy distortion/od pedals
