When my guitar has been plugged in awhile it will start to cut out and crackle alot. I've replaced the battery, tried diff cables, I know its not the amp. If I unplug and plug the cable back in it will start to work again for awhile, but will eventually start craping out again.

What is wrong with my guitar? Is it the plug in? How do I fix this?

Is your input jack at the bottom where the strap button goes as well? Check if the jack is tight and screwed in all the way. Mine used to come loose on my Art & Lutherie all the time.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ

...isn't this suppose to be in the electric guitar forum, or is this a pick up you put on the acoustic?
