I need some help deciding on what amp I should get, it's going to be a tube combo. The Blackheart just can't keep up with a drummer without a mic. You can hear it, but it's just not loud enough.

My maximum spending limit is around $700, I'd like to go lower then that (around $500-600) so I can also get a new pedal or two. I play mostly punk influenced stuff, so high-gain isn't a must, but gain is nice. I already have distortion and overdrive pedals.

I can try out just about any amp because I have 3 music shops in about a 20 mile radius.

Any suggestions?

Wait until he's trying the fullstack, then shove it from behind. Crushing him with it's overdrive

You can't tune a LP copies down. Some kind of lawsuit Gibson won. Sorry.

Thanks so far everyone, I've been looking at the Bugera 333XL for a while.

I'm kind of looking for a Motorhead/Old School punk crunch.

I've never even heard of the Mesa .50 Caliber, any clips or youtube videos do it justice?
