the 95 hands down. fords make some of the greatest v8's. but the 01 looks a whole lot better. i think that looks wise the 80's and 90's mustangs lacked, except the 88 that one looks good to me with a little body work

depends on the condition/miles.

i am a absolute mustang nut, i have a 07 in windveil blue.

if both were the same condition/miles id take the 5.0, 5.0s are dirt cheap to fix up. compared to a 2001.

its crazy, i could pay $300 for a intake for a 5.0 or 800 for mine since its newer. dumb as hell.

In a straight quarter-mile, the 95.

Man I wish I had the money to beef up my Stang.

Yea, Sublime is a great band. You have an Underoath icon, so I think your opinion doesn't matter.

Neither. The insurance, road tax and fuel costs would be higher than I'd be willing to pay.

I might say the 2001 V6.

As cars progress, we find newer and better ways to get the power to the ground.

I remember watching the episode of Top Gear when Jeremy drove the Jaguar E-Type and the Aston Martin DB5, and he went over this exact topic. He pitted the two classics against a brand new Honda Accord, and the Accord blew them both out of the water.

I'm not saying 6 years made a whole lot of difference with these cars (because Ford doesn't know how to progress in the American market), but I see the 2001 having a chance, at least.

Also depends on who's driving.

EDIT: Also, use the Car Thread.

Get a real, non-american, non-crap, non-gas-guzzling European car instead you damn fool.
The DNA results show that Jeremy Kyle is a nob.

When it comes to gas mileage, it doesn't matter if it's European if you're in America.

The EPA screws us over when it comes to that.

That, my friend, is the definition of bullshit.

guys, it's a trick question, they have these engines, but they aren't IN the cars.
see things from all the angles

so it depends on who's pushing the vehicles

Ummmm, can I put my vote towards the '88 GT? Cuz yeah....

But I'd go with the '01.

[EDIT]: Scratch that. '95 gets my vote. Yes, I know I'm indecisive.

giving the engine size alone is useless.

Horse power and torque statistics FTW.

I'd save my money and buy a Nissan GT-R which would rape them both. And break my neck in the process.

Fender Mexican P-Bass
