i think they were using guitar synths or something so it may be near impossible

they ran their guitar through synths on that album so it sounded like that. Thats all i can think of to get that sound.

Adrian Smith has one of those Roland synth pickups on a sunburst strat.
You'll need one, and a synth processor unit thing... ?
