What kinda pickups do you have (humbucker, strat syle single coil, P90, TV Jones, EMG or other active)? It is very simple. Unsolder the old wire, and solder the new wires exactly where the others were.

Its all about de-soldering the old pickup wires and soldering the new ones back on.

Yea just make sure you put the wires where they are supposed to go. I'd suggest doing it one pickup at a time

Beware, though, if you want to put in any four conductor pickup you'll need to increase the size of the rout to the control cavity, as it's too small normally.

At least, that's how it was with mine.

Which ones? Most Seymour Duncans and most DiMarzios are four-conductor.

He's telling you that if you are buying pickups that have more or thicker wires than the ones you currently have, you will need to enlarge the holes that the wires run through.
