alright, i'm really pissed off right now for reasons but i really need guitar songs i can learn. whenever i get mad i go to play guitar but don't know any metal songs that would act as an outlet. Nothing too difficult; ill try and learn it tomorrow when i calm down so next time i get mad i have something to play.

also what do you play when you're mad?

sorry for poor sentence structure/flow etc. I'm really out of it right now. when i get mad i bottle it all up and it just leaves me really dazed.

I feel like the most badass person ever playing harvester of sorrow or MOP. Play really slow heavy songs, I find them more effective for when I'm angry. Sometimes happier music helps. The comfortably numb solo is very relaxing and when you get to the last part of it you'll feel incredibly happy . Have fun.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71_UDG7_edk Forgot about this one. It takes the cake! Play along with it, it's the most uplifting angry song EVER. The last bend of the solo at the end feels so good

Fight Fire with Fire by metallica. If everybody could play that song on guitar, there would be no more domestic violence.

I love playing Funeralopolis by Electric Wizard. It's so slow and heavy and easy to play. Just turn the distortion up to eleven and sing along.
its 1:56 am and i just ate 6 chocolate chip cookies in not even near as many minutes

I'm a big doom fan, but it's not aggressive enough to play when you're raging in my opinion.

I agree. Obituary are godlike.

And Dying Fetus are from a town right near mine, only badass thing to come from Maryland since the Colts or Edgar Allen Poe.

It's the lyrics that make it aggressive. Trust me, after you've been screaming "nuclear warheads ready to strike, this world is so fucked let's end it tonight" for a minute you won't feel angry anymore. And it's super simple to play so even if you suck at singing and playing (like me), you can still do it.

Very good point. On that note, Burning Witch - History of Hell would be fun to play. Or if you're depressed/angry, Warning would be awesome lyric wise.

I thought of three more.

"Tuhat Vuotta" by Catamenia
"Starless Aeon" by Dissection
"In Your Face" by Children of Bodom
"Cry of the Blackbirds" by Amon Amarth

And other songs by those bands. Also, if you like stuff more like the first few songs I posted, "Chaos In Motion" by Negativa is pretty good. They have a few of/one of (idk) the guys from Gorguts.
