I have a fender silverface twin (125w or something) with stock jbl k120s and i was thinking of selling them and buying some new speakers for use with more distortion

1. what are some good speaker options for distortion

2. The JBL's are both 75 watters. If i threw 2 v-30s in there they would get fried right? what are my wattage options

thanks all

Ya. v30's would be just fine. Unless you turn it up to 10.

They'd still be fine then, speakers are rated conservatively since tube amps can produce more than their clean wattage. AC30s are 33 watts and come with two 15 watt speakers, but you don't hear about them getting blown out.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

Very well. guess i'm more used to bass speakers. It's more of a problem there.
