Well my friend has this problem, he's barrowing Across the Universe from a friend and he wants to "back up" the dvd on dvd shrink.

He managed to do the second disc but he can't do the first one which is the actually movie because whenever he puts it in the computer your computer makes noises and it has that blinking light but it doesn't do anything.

When he goes to my computer he clicks on the dvd drive and it says please insert a disc. He tried google but he couldn't find anything. He can't replace the drive because he has no money and the computer is about a year old.

He did the whole blow on it and whip with a tissue thing too.

Don't worry. i've been told by many people (who are beatles fans) that the covers are horrid in that movie. It's not worth your "freinds" time "backing up the disk."

It's really not, just listen to the real Beatles songs, they're way better.
