Hello everyone, I need some suggestions.

I am in mid progress of building a custom guitar. In looks it is based off a Schecter Hollywood Classic.

My plan is to use two humbucker pickups, but I am thinking of coil splitting them to add some more variety to the sound. I am looking for some suggestions of pick ups that you have found that worked well with splitting.

In terms of sound I am looking for something with a bit more grit to it then my current electric: an Ibanez hollow-body which has a mellow blues sound to it. Nothing to dark and heavy. Something that will allow for some flexibility in sound for playing, rock, classic rock, blues, etc.

Thanks for your help.

neck wise, try a rockfield SWC, since your going to coil split it, should souund great
