while adjusting my intonation on my guitar, i noticed how unusually flat the pitch was for the high e intonation.

so i adjusted the saddle forward as directed by internet instructions.

however, the string was consistently flat no matter how much i adjusted it, and, the saddle currently is as far as it will go. [its still f**king flat]

how can i fix this

note: my strings are over a year old could this possibly cause the problem?

Return the saddle to the scale length, replace the string and try again.

I'm not saying it will cure it, but year old strings aren't a great place to start lol

definitelty new strings. When you change strings be sure to tune it about a 1/4 step up and leave it over night. When i do that it never gets out of tune again
I have too much gear to fit!
