Hey guys,

I have an M-Audio Firewire 410 going into my PC with a Korg AX1500G (one of the big multi-effects boards) for effects. This is all (relatively) great for recording guitar with a bit of bite, but the second I set it to clean and strum, the recording breaks up. Even if there is no registered clipping, and all levels (on the Korg as well as the Firewire) are turned down really low, it still sounds awful. What's up?

Check your PC specs and make sure you are good enough to run the sequencer (software) you have. Also go and adjust your buffers, having them too low will cause pops and static, having them too high will cause latency.
