I haven't had any dealings with the MG, but the vast consensus on UG is to stay away from them. I have however owned a Spider and I thought that it was crap. It was versatile but I just couldn't get a sound out of it that I liked... maybe it's just me?

You guys like the vypers? I haven't had a chance to check one out yet but it has peaked my curiosity. Are the lower wattage versions any good for bedroom practice?
