What do you play?

Considering he's looking for Kirk tone I'd assume he plays metal.

Check out a Randall RG50TC and B-52 AT112... or a Valveking if you're willing to put some work into it - believe me, they get pretty nice metal tones.

Its not always the case thats like me saying ohhh you own a valveking you must only play classic rock and blues... Which is why I always ask...

And to the TS, Used Peavey Ultra, 5150 or Triple

Randall RG50TC. I'm not into metal (I'm getting one for heavy alt rock) but they can do metal with ease. It depends if you're gigging or not though, because they're too loud for bedroom practice. If you're strictly a bedroom player I'd suggest a Line6 Flextone (don't be biased, they're waaaayyyy better than Spiders).

If all you had to go on was the forum you'd think a Decimator could cure noise caused by dodgey stage lighting and restock the ocean's population of sperm whales
