Is it okay to change between differen't tunings all the time? Like from drop B to standard.

Hasn't this thread already been done 100 times in the last few days?
Searchbar?

Edit: But no it shouldn't hurt anything unless you change tunings every time you play a different song

Sorry this forum is so huge I don't use the search bar anymore.. You have to read through so much to find what you want.

Thanks martindecorum. Your helpful.

I often change tuning quite dramatically, (i.e. C-standard) play for an hour or so then tune back. I've heard some people say this can warp the neck, and others say it doesn't matter.

Also, I have a fixed bridge and 10-52 strings.

I only change the tuning rarely so I haven't had any problems at all.

John Entwistle once in a while. I had to try to find him when I saw The Who two years ago.
