I was going to say that

Your going to have to practice until you can play it without retching though...

James, a type of sandwich:

A sandwich that consists of ham, turkey, roast beef, shredded cheese, nacho cheese doritos, and ranch on a toasted bun.
"Hey man lets go get a couple James's for lunch"

Do not play Hey There Delilah

Here are a few really popular songs that arent that hard that most chiks love:

Wonderwall by Oasis
You and Me by Lifehouse
I'm yours by Jason Mraz
What I Got by Sublime
Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson

An easy finger picking song would be Blackbird by The Beatles

Another really good one which is kinda sad though is Swing Life away by Rise Against

"**** The Pain Away" by Peaches is also a good choice, I don't know how you'd arrange it for a finger-picked acoustic style though...

"Santeria" is also a good choice, I know girls that go crazy over that song

The Jose Gonzalez version of "Heartbeats".

Very nice, weird lyrics, and not too long so you can pounce on her just after her heart melts...

1...2...3...4

One night to be confused,
one night to speed up truth
We had a promise made,
four hands and then away

Both under influence,
we had divine sense
to know what to say
mind is a razor blade

CHORUS:

To call from hand of above,
to lean on
wouldn't be good enough
for me no

One night of magic rush,
the start a simple touch
one night to push and scream
and then relief

10 days of perfect tunes,
teh colours red and blue
we had a promise made
we were in love

Chorus

Chorus again but with out the "no" on the end, then...

And you, you knew the hands of the Devil,
and you, kept us awake with wolves teeth
sharing different heartbeats
in one night

Chorus

Chorus again

Start f*cking

Finger picking songs are great for chics, for obvious reason...a demonstration of dexterity, if you will.

Also, if you can play that song and sing it at the same time, you will show that you can do many things at once, which is good...

Your Guardian Angel- The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
You're Beautiful- James Blunt

Most girls like that sort of stuff. As for me, I rather have a guy play Kashmir- Led Zeppelin. Not that that's a love song, but still.

Good one, but if I recall it is in Drop C and I don't know if he'd want to go through the hassle of detuning all the way down for one song. You can just play it up a step by playing the same thing in Drop D but it doesn't sound nearly as good imo.

do a fingerstyle version of Scarborough Fair, i have one recorded in my profile section, its pretty easy to figure out. honestly something soft and pleasant on an acoustic will entrance a woman faster than something fast and poppy, but thats just my opinion.

if you can sing, dont sing "Every Breath you Take" might come off as being stalkerish too.

The Dresden Dolls - Sing

Very beautiful song imo and the first I could play and sing at the same time.

Simple non-barre chords too, shouldn't take you long to get down yet sound good
