does anyone know of any flatwound strings for acoustics?
reason im asking is i love my chrome flatwound strings on my electric
but i would like it that same feel on my acoustic.

(i did a search nothing came up so sorry if its been asked a million times)

You can use flatwound electric strings, like d'Addario Chromes or whatever else you are using on your electric.
There is a drawback however. Flatwounds have a lot more internal friction than regular roundwounds and therefore a lot shorter sustain. No problem for most electrics that have their sustains measured in ages instead of seconds. No problem either for old school jazz-cats that want their notes to drop dead on the floor before their feet, but chances are that you won't like it one bit.
But of course you can try.
