I'll be playing a Les Paul with SD Alico Pro II's, I intend to by and used and I have 400 usd. The most important tones I want to get are Gn'R, Van Halen, Hendrix, and Wolfmother. The most gain I'll need is for VH, I'll have a pedal. I want good blues tones, decent or better cleans, and I want a Marshall-y, british "flavored" amp. So then...

A used Ceriatone would be ABSOLUTLY perfect.
other then that, a Traynor has an amazing Marshall sound.
The next best thing would probably be a used JCM800.
