there are four different "keys" to be in and i just want default. Im using a bass but there isnt any option to choose that

any help would be appreciated i really have no idea how this thing works

Sorry dude, didn't read the OP properly. It's a chromatic tuner right? So you need to tune to E, A, D, G from low to high.

so when i pluck the E string the key shoud be in E? so on...

You have a Concert tuner, which means it'd designed mainly for concert band instruments. This means that the tuner can adjust for instruments not tuned in C, like a trumpet (which is Bb). However, for your choice, as a bassist, you want to choose the key of C.

Then, as Zaphod_Beeblebr said, tune your strings to E (thickest), to G (thinnest).

Umm, not to be a wiseass here, but your link has an instruction booklet pdf file attached. Did you try reading that?
