Hey, look I know that there seems to be a huge amount of topics on this for some reason, but I actually need something answered. I keep breaking strings right at the ball joint, and its becoming fustrating, and its not old strings either. I was just after some suggestion on some strings that maybe have a strong ball joint or am I just wishing for the impossible?

Thanks, Besa-Moogie

it's not the strings, it's your bridge most likely. check it out for rough edges at the point where the string breaks, gently file any such edges away.
I've been imitated so well I've heard people copy my mistakes.
