Alright guys, I've been told by a mate of mine that I need to play more happy songs and more modern songs at gigs. Apparently at the age of 20 I am no longer "Down wi' da kidz" fo'shizzle

At the moment I'm playing stuff like this

Rebel, Rebel- Bowie
Thats Entertainment- The Jam
Theres A Light That Never Goes Out- The Smiths
That'll be the day- Buddy Holly
Bang a Gong- T.Rex
Sally Cinnamon- The Stone Roses

etc etc

Its all done solo acoustically. So basically any suggestions for happy or new songs that could be done on one guitar (relitively easily) would be much appreciated

If you could work out a solo version of "Walk of Life" by Dire Straits, that would be pretty sweet. Or maybe "See You" by Foo Fighters.
If you laugh at this I get to have sex with you.

Or 'Everlong'. It's not exactly happy, but everyone knows it and loves it.
