Hi, I have a problem with my speaker. Its a 15 watt, and when I go past 7 certain notes start to buzz. I'm not talking about an annoying buzz due to a bad cable. It seems like my speaker is vibrating a lot. It only happens with certain notes, mostly with the C# on the 6th string.

What kind of amp? If it's a cheaper/older amp, the speaker may just not be able to handle certain frequencies.

Are you detuned a long ways down? If you are tuned way down on a small amp the excess amount of bass in your equalizing could be causing then. Either bring your tuning up, or dial back the bass setting.

Just something to try?
