If you just want it to fit into the single sized slot then maybe a Seymour Duncan SHR-1b as these will give sharp distortion aswell an cleam tones.

Yeah, Yngwie uses them because they don't get muddy with all the distortion he uses. Which is usually the way to go, IMO.
