Hey!

I finally found the proper cure for GAS;

Ernie Ball/MusicMan Luke - Candy apple red w/ matching headstock
-->
Vox 847 Wah
-->
Ibanez Ts808 Tube Screamer
-->
Marshall JCM2000 DSL401 40W Tube Combo

And for those romantic moments, a Yamaha LJ16 Jumbo.

As far as i can tell, it wont get any better soundwise.

To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true.

There is no permanent cure for GAS. It's like having a cold or the flu. You take some pills and stuff, it goes away, but it doesen't mean you'll never have it again.

There's no cure for GAS. I've got a flawless Gibson Custom Shop 1959... I've wanted one ever since I first picked up a guitar, the whole reason I started playing was because of a certain solo played on a (real original) 1959 Les Paul.

But even now I've got the guitar I've dreamt of for years... I still want to get a decent Strat too sometime. And a '54-style LP goldtop with a wraparound and P-90s. And a double neck SG with the 12-string on the bottom (rather than on top like usual). And then there's amps I still want... JCM800, Tonemaster, Bluesbreaker, Princeton...
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

It stands for Gear Acquisition Syndrome; that feeling that all guitarists constantly have that tells them they "just need one more piece of gear and their rig will be perfect"...only it never is. There is no known cure for it and as far as I know the term has been flying around for a few years at the very least...the syndrome itself has existed since the birth of the guitar.

At work at the moment, will post piccies of the little collection of goodies as soon as I get home. The EBMM Luke is the most badass guitar i´ve ever played, had my fingers around a few Fenders and Gibsons but none could come close to the sound of this baby.

And the looks of it!!

My wife is a bit joualous but nonetheless i bring it to bed with me every night ;D

I *hope* that as soon as I get a proper Explorer (I am settling for nothing other than a Gibson or Hamer USA or Edwards version so that I don't lust after Explorer afterwards) and something like a Peavey 5150 or a nice Traynor YC50 Blue.

But after that I'd probably lust after a semi-hollow body or something like that.
my MG15DFX has a button that simulates the sound of one of the expensive tube marshall amps
