I'd suggest not using UG for this because the inevitable flaming you'll receive. Just Google and Youtube worship songs and you're bound to find some stuff you'll like. There are a lot of tab/chord sites for worship songs, too, so it shouldn't be that hard.

Find some casting crowns songs that you like... "who am i" maybe.. or "word of God speak" I'm not sure who sings that one, but he might have more acoustic songs that you'll like.

Umm...there are only three songs in that section of the What Songs List. Not very helpful.

Look up Daniel's Window. They have a really cool song called You Reign. Nice and easy. Go to their website, listen to the song, and they SHOULD still have a link to the chords. If they don't PM me and I'll send you the Chords/Lyrics I wrote out. God Bless!

lol that was funny.

Shelby, i'm not fond of worship songs, but i do think there are some non-religious songs with strong inspirational messages. Lean On Me - Bill Withers is a good example. maybe that would be useful?

wow..TS for this exact reason I don't support things like the 30 Hour Famine..things I would support if they weren't infilitrated with religious/worshiping fruitcakes.

Flood - Jars of Clay
I played that in church last Sunday, I like it a lot. And yes, inevitably, a large amount of worship music is horrible. Seeming as it is all about one topic. But you get over it. And I doubt many people listen to just worship music. I'd hate life if I did. gotta have my Mikael.

hmm not being a fan of worship music cuz its somewhat lame and repetitive i dunno what to suggest. I think jeremy camps song "this Man" i think thats what its called is pretty awesome. powerful lyrics but easy guitar.

What do you mean, 'Worhship songs!'?

Religious songs?

Because only about 25% of voting UGers are creationists.
That's not a lot of religious people...
#37
Ah, the pit...

Basically, Hillsong/Hillsong United and Chris Tomlin will have you covered. There's quite a few other good bands out there that I'm too tired to remember, but those two will really do it. Also try to stay away from ones like Aaron Schust or whatever his name is...his songs are just annoying and a;ways seemed kind of mindless to me..

Also check out the Christan Guitarists group, I'm sure they can recommend a few.
