ok so i was having troubles wqith my 5150 and came here and after taking everyones advice, i did the ofllowing:

changed the main fuse
changed a fuse inside that was blown
put in brand new ruby and jj tubes
turned the amp back on to find nothing had changed....

basically, my amp turns on normally. all tubes and leds light up except standby light. then i click on standby switch, and the light still doesnt come on. neither does any sound. it did this before i changed out the fuse inside and the tubes. any ideas people?

sounds like its permanently on standby.... like the switch is disconnected.

Take it to an amp tech.
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.

is the standby switch wired up correctly? maybe a wire is loose
