I'm trying to make a good sized playlist with alternative/indie songs. Can anyone suggest some stuff? Here's what I have so far,

Clocks - Coldplay
God Put A Smile On Your Face - Coldplay
Enjoy the Silence - Depeche Mode
The Killing Moon - Echo and the Bunnymen
Satelite - Guster
Drive - Incubus
Map of the Problematique - Muse
Picture - Mute Math
Please Return It - The Posies
Weird Fishes/Arpeggi - Radiohead
Starts with One - Shiny Toy Guns
1979 - Smashing Pumpkins
This Charming Man - The Smiths
Interstate Love Song - Stone Temple Pilots
Jumper - Third Eye Blind
Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve

First take off the Coldpay and Muse.

Get some Radiohead. Try Paranoid Android and 2+2=5.

I'd also suggest these:

Sonic Youth - Unmade Bed (Sonic Nurse, 2004)
The Strokes - Heart In A Cage (First Impressions..., 2006)
Modest Mouse - Florida (We Were Dead..., 2006)
Modest Mouse - Tiny Cities Made Of Ashes (The Moon & Antarctica, 2004)
Snowden - Victim Card (Anti-Anti, 2006)
Dredg - The Canyon Beside Her (El Cielo, 2003)
Poritshead - Magic Doors (Third, 2008)
Pavement - Range Life (Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain, 1994)

If you like those, PM me. I got lots more you might like.

the song 'energy' by the apples in stereo is free on amazon.com and i think it's very good, it also fits. The Decemberists are an indie band I think everyone should at least try listening to. If you're going Incubus I would lean towards 'Wish you were here' and 'nice to know you', those are my two favorites by them. I think Snow Patrol also would fit both sides of this list, I think 'Hands Open' is a great song, and most of that whole album (Eyes Open) is very good. Lastly, Vampire Weekend is just really enjoyable to listen to. 'Walcott', 'Oxford Comma' are tops. Actually, their best song is called 'Ottoman', its on the soundtrack for 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist' (Please don't ask), anyone who I've played that song for has really liked it.
