I'm 22, broke, and 5'10" 240 pounds

What i want is some excercises to work my abs. my legs and arms are toned but my stomach is most definitely a keg rather than six-pack. I can't afford new equipment or a personal trainer, i've never really worked out or gone to the gym, and all the sites i found tell me how great their excercises work but then there's no fu cki ng excercises!!!

anything will help, videos of effective workouts, step by step instructions, links to a site that will help.... hell, f**** me and call me weight related names.... we'll call it support.

i know i put myself in this position but i want to lose the weight, please help pit.

The only way to tone your stomach is to lose fat...

All the sit ups, bridges whatever you do won't make your tummy look toned...your abs will be rock hard, but there will still be fat on top of them.

What you need to do is go running, cycling or swimming....Basically cardio. Swim in the sea if you can't afford to go to a pool..I love swimming in the sea !!! Use sunscreen though :p

You can even try HIT i think it's called. That's basically sprint like 50 metres or so...do pushups, sprint again do situps, sprint do some other exercise, sprint. Don't overdo this though. Always let your body recover. This really kicks your metabolism into high gear. Do cardio basically, burn energy however !

And watch what you eat...That's about it...In 2-3 months there will be a major difference...

loose fat (diet), excerseise generally (running/swimming/cycling, also increases stamina)

that will make whatever muscles you have visible.

then, if you are dead skinny with no muslces, then, still keeping to your diet/shit, then do sit ups, bench (or bridge or whatever you kids are calling it nowadays)

try taking protein and shit if you still dont get anything.

Eat less and excercise more fatty!
I recommend at least an hour of cardiac a day to keep your metabolism going if you're wanting to lose weight. Should help with your endurance and breathing too.

push ups, sit ups, pull ups on a bar are great for your abs.

run

lay down on your back, get a heavy object that is not breakable, and push it up and down with your feet.

hold on to a bar with hands for as long as you can

run down and up steps.

10 crunches, followed immediately by 10 bicycles, 10 leg-up crunches, 10 straight-arm crunches, 10 leg-ups, rest for 60 seconds and repeat. If you can't do that, reduce the number of reps.

It works wonders and requires nothing but a floor.

Or you could just do max sets of bicycles.

Perhaps you could check out Men's Health magazine at the local library. I'm sure there are exercise videos and books there as well.

I got wickedly out of shape lately. I use to be really buff because I use to bike every where and I had rock hard abs. But not since my friend got his car I'm always cruising and not really working out. I dunno so now I'm walking around more and when the school pool opens up I'll probably swim some laps. But yeah just biking around a lot can get you fit.

^ all that, plus drink lots of water. Cut down on all the sugary drinks. Even Gatorade and juices - go for water instead. The dieting will be a pretty big part of you losing the fat, so maybe try limiting your carb intake. Have them in the morning, but thats it. Exercising in the morning before breakfast will help burn lots of fat, but make sure to eat properly to keep the metabolism up. Good luck dude

thanks pit... witht eh advice i've made it to being able to do 55 situps and 40 pushups from 25 and 15 a week ago... anything else that will help?
