Everything is in the title ... Any suggestions ?

I'm playing blues, classic rock and 80's hard rock through a Peavey C30.

Thanks in advance

If you want a really nice OD then you could save up a bit more and buy something like an OCD, otherwise the Digitech Bad Monkey is only $50 and works quite nicely.

Save up for an OCD, or simply by a Bad Monkey.

TS808, or the fulltone OCD for sure.

How can you deny the truth? TS808. It's as classic as anything, chances are you've heard it on endless albums. I've got a clone, but the sound is undeniable. I keep hearing about this bad monkey. One word: Analog. Good Luck!
Guitar: '83 Fender American Stratocaster
Amp: '67 Fender Bandmaster
Effects: TS808 clone, SHO boost, MXR+ distortion

tubescreamer. or the ocd. ther are a lot of good pedals for pushing an amp, which is what i assume you will be doing. the ocd is my personal favorite for a little more than that. i didnt have a good experience with my wylde overdrive. the switch broke after about a month and it wasn't very reliable. it did sound pretty good though.

I'm tipping over the OCD bandwagon. Go for the Maxon OD9. best ts9 like tubescreamer available i believe.

I quite like the MI-Audio Blues Pro myself. I advise that you look into it.

Some say that the Maxon's are better... I dunno, I was happy with every TS808 i've ever used.
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.

Just a comment on this. I know people on forums tend to bandwagon onto gear, not arguing that. The other day I was on the proguitarshop.com page and read their "meet the staff" section.

http://www.proguitarshop.com/index.php?CategoryID=540

They carry every pedal imaginable, and presumably could own whatever pedals they want. They each list their 3 favorite pieces of gear. Of the 6 employees, 2 of them listed the Fulltone OCD. The Fulltone TTE was also on one list.

Just something to think about. Maybe there's something to the bandwagoning?

(And yes, I own one and a TS808 clone)

TS808 isn't analog, it uses a chip.

To TS, you can get a lot of OD's for that price used, even an OCD or TS9 or Maxon OD-9

^WOW, massive fail.

I guese non of the pedals you mentioned are worthy either cause i bealive they all use chips.

Chips can be analog, and the TS808 is analog.
