I've decided to buy a used EHX Deluxe Memory Man off eBay, but I can't decide between re-issues from the 1990's with the hardwired 3-prong electrical cable or newer models that use a wall wart. The newer models have true bypass.

I've even seen some really old models from the 1970's or 1980's that had 2-prong style plugs, but all of these were really beat up with lots of rust and different layouts.

I'm currently looking at a 90's reissue that includes the original wooden box.

What are the pros & cons of the different vintages of this analog delay pedal?

Anyone? Even anecdotal info would be useful.

I have the old model and it sounds great but i wouldn't mind the true bypass and an LED telling me whether the effect is on or not. But i've heard there are some changes in volume with the new models and that they're brighter.

Great pedal either way.
