If I replace the control knobs with the exact same kind that were on there, would the guitar still be considered all original? I am doing this because the ones that are on there have the paint coming off of the numbers and it looks ugly. It's a MIM Fender Strat.
Have you heard Good Times, Bad Times by Led Zeppelin? Don't you just love the fast ascending pentatonic lick Jimmy does in the middle of the solo? Well it's pissing me off! I've been trying to get this lick right for a several MONTHS! I can play things way more difficult, but not this one! This may sound kinda weird, but I think my body trying to prevent me from playing this lick, well just the first 3 notes. Every time I try to pick these notes (A---14-12-14---), my hand just refuses to play it, like it just stutters. I also get this weird, tickling feeling in my spine! I can play it on ALL the other frets except 12th and 14th! Well anyway it's definitely F'd up. Maybe Page cursed it so only he can play it? Any help guys?
I am currently trying to learn all 5 positions of the minor pentatonic scale. In most video lessons, they use A minor to teach you. This has confused me. Are all the positions just for A minor, or is it where you have start on the root note of whatever key you're playing in of each position and all positions stay the same?
I might want to make a song that has just power chords and some shred. but before i do that i need a little of help. can i play any power chords i want or does it have to be in a certaint key? and do i have to play the solos in a certaint key?

I'm pretty confused so please help. I know the pentatonic scale and i can improvise well on it and it sounds very bluesy. but is it blues? do you have to use the blues scale to play blues? and also if im playing with a blues backing track that is in E, do i have to play in E? and why? And what does it mean when a back track is in E? If one is in another letter like G, do i have to play in G?
