Just wanted to add, it still works perfectly fine in my home / at the studio... It's just the occasional live performance when this happens..
Hey guys, I need some help.

I own a cheap Gibson knockoff electric guitar and a Zoom G2 guitar processor. I've owned the G2 since 3-4 years and I LOVE the thing. It sounds beautiful in studio recordings and a most live performances.

So what's the problem, you say? Well, it's now officially two times that the g2 has caused a serious problem for me. Two days back, during soundcheck @ a fairly expensive/hi-tech auditorium, there was an AWFUL amount of latency on my guitar. I'm not sure if latency is the right word (as it's usually a term used during studio recording), but yeah, basically I heard a chord/note I played about a whole second after I played it.

No, there isn't any problem with the auditorium's sound equipment, because this problem doesn't happen with other guitarists who use other processors. And yes, I also tried connecting the guitar directly to their equipment (without the processor) and it worked perfectly. ZERO Latency.

I absolutely love my guitar processor, and I hope that this is a problem that can be corrected. Sadly I didn't find anyone else in the internet having this problem. And I have another performance in two days. Can you guys help?
Hey guys! This is a cover of a Bollywood classic (Yes, BOLLYWOOD, India)...

Even if you guys can't understand the language (Hindi), atleast listen to the guitar work... There are about 5-6 layers of guitar, all recorded by me (Btw, those string-like sounds are actually a Slow Attack effect on my Zoom G2 effects pedal, so it's guitar too!)..

NOTE: - We have ALMOST completely changed the arrangement of the song to something more in the lines of alternative rock music (Think Coldplay, U2,etc.)..

PLEASE check it out.. Like, comment and share.. It will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks...
OVERLOOKED!!!

Band Name : OD
Genre : Alternative, Punk (with slight traces of Pop)
Influences : Green Day, U2, Queen, Linkin Park, Coldplay

The logo should not be too simple , but something which even a student with bad artistic skills can draw on his school textbook....
Oh my.... that was anticlimatic!!!
A TIE?What now? Are we joint winners?

EDIT:- btw, change my song link to http://artists.ultimate-guitar.com/odtheband/
Thank you sexy.varsha! I am pleased that someone liked it.
I just heard Dragon Attack. Yaris has done a awesome job.
This is going to be a close one. May the best win!
Where are the results???
I guess only 3 or 4 sumbitted their covers....
Please try to announce the results as early as possible.....
May the best win.....
Hey, i have already been told that my vocals suck.....
I have decided to try and improve myself instead of bringing someone new....
hey guys,
I use a zoom g2 effects pedal...... when i try to change from the clean channel to distortion, the volume is also automatically increased to ear-paining levels.....
any help?

Thanks,
Actually i have used a combination of Audacity and FL studio...... Audacity for recording the Guitars and the vocals and Fl Studio for its drum machine and other synth effects.....
Maybe you are right about the age thing(i am only 15)...... my voice may get better as i get older.....
BTW, one online friend says i sound like a 'teenaged' Kurt Cobain..... I don't know whether its praise or criticism...
I think you are right. I am much more talented in the guitar than in singing.
The reason why i am singing currently is because even after auditioning for 5 months, we haven't found a good singer yet.... all the good ones are in the 'established' bands...
Sorry, i forgot to mention another problem....
The city where i live in (bhubaneswar) is one of the cities in india where rock music is VERY popular.... so there are very less people who would like to join an 'amateur' band......
LOL! Never expected so much criticism for my singing....
hello everyone,

i need some suggestion on whether our band (OverDrive) should get a new singer or not...
Currently I am the guitarist and the singer of the band. My friends say that i have a good 'raw' voice for rock music. But the problem is, i am quite incapable of being a good frontman because i am more of a 'silent' and 'timid' guy. Also, i have a problem playing guitar and singing together.
To know how I sound like, check out any song from my band's profile - http://artists.ultimate-guitar.com/overdrivensounds/

So, what's your suggestion?
Hi guys....
The singer of the band i'm in is a decent one, but he has a slight problem. He sings the low notes perfectly but while singing the high notes, he kind of 'shouts' loudly. This drowns out the other instruments (and sometimes gives ear pain to us!)....
Any tips for him?
I think Brain May from Queen is VERY underrated...... he has his own guitar 'tone', he can shred easily and is also composes great solos..... more importantly, he plays rhythm and lead at the same time...
hi....
I want to join this contest.... my song is a full rock arrangement of "We Will Rock You".
check it on my profile..... or my band's profile - http://artists.ultimate-guitar.com/overdrivensounds/
Vocals and guitar work done by me... (DEW)
Bass and synthesizer sounds are done by ANDY....
Drums by my old and trusty friend, FL STUDIO....
Hope you like it.... do check out the guitar solo at the end....
(P.S. :- sorry for the bad quality vocals.... they were recorded when everyone in my house was sleeping)
