Thanks for all the advice/suggestions so far guys, but I saw a post saying I should try learning some scales, so I guess I was just wondering, what scales would be good for me to learn?
Hey, so I'm a newbie when it comes to soloing, and I was wondering if somebody could recommend me some exercises/songs that will help me improve my soloing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
So, I'm a newbie at soloing, so could somebody recommend me a song with a solo that isn't too hard but isn't too easy?

I would prefer a metal song...But any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh, and don't say "Go to the tabs/solos for beginners", because I already posted there and got zero responses.
Oh, I didn't see that, thanks
Lately I've been thinking about starting a black metal band with me as the vocalist, and I've been practicing growling/screaming/shrieking, whatever you want to call it, and I usually use Cradle Of Filth or Dimmu Borgir songs to practice, but after 1 or 2 two songs my throat will get really sore, and I don't want to start a band until I can do something about this, so any tips or advice would be much appreciated.
