I did a quick search and couldn't find anybody else inquiring on a writing partner besides a woman trying to write pop songs.

Looking for somebody to collaborate on some Metal influenced fast punk type of music. I record all my guitar stuff in Rifftracker bounce down to Wav then to Mp3. Some of my stuff is posted on my profile.

Essentially I want to find somebody that I can send a verse to and have that person write a chorus to it or solo over the verse. Or even them sending me stuff there working on and I can help there writing process. You get the point..hopefully. Also I live in Las Vegas so if your wanting to write together and are in the area let me know.

Also if I posted in the wrong section i'm sorry, if you could direct me where I should post to that would be helpful. Thanks! Hope to hear from somebody.

Try rebooting your modem and router and restart your computer all at the same time. Should clear it up
your guitar needs to be set up probably get the intonation checked, maybe some truss rod adjustment, some bridge adjustment too. Could be lots of things
no problem, frett buzz can be eliminated pretty well from a good luthier at a guitar shop. He could adjust the action on the guitar. he could also loosen or tighten the tension rod going through the neck of the guitar.

I hate fret buzz and somebody had to teach me to eliminate it from my guitars. have fun
I did not know about the artist Miyavi. He's really badass, thanks for posting the link

get an acoustic with heavy gauge strings to match his tone. Any acoustic would work.
Its always great to start your career early. if you like to read books, search amazon for some recrding engineer books. But if your into hands on learning get the books and buy yourself a mixer (mackie makes pretty good ones)

check out fullsail.com its the engineer college i went to. helped out tremendously. try to find someone in your local are too to give you lessons on recording techniques. and basic signal flow, know your time based gear!!
If your a beginner thats a great song to try and learn by ear. You can watch the performance and see how he plays it too. But the intro is so slow you could fumble around on your guitar for an hour and figure it out on your own. making you feel proud, instead of somebody else doing it.
I didnt smoke the whole day, but i did go to a funk festival and smelled it a lot

Check out the Indorphine video, if you like SOAD, or Mr. Bungle
A total fake, but it showcases the guys impressions. I would love to be able to do Jack Nicholson. thanks for posting the link
Go to the mens warehouse, you dont need a tux or anything. Get a nice shirt to match the tie, get a nice pair of slacks (pants). Make sure to get her a corsage, order it from a flower store, make sure the corsage matches the color of her dress too. You should probably order that corsage today, usually places get bombarded with orders so get yours in early. Pick a place to go out to dinner too. Your set man have fun!
Hope I dont get booted for suggesting music to somebody

Thats a good point civildp1, you should buy 2 digi002 racks. far better quality and your not limited to hooking in One XLR (mic cable) i think it has 8 xlr and 8 1/4 inch. also you need some studio monitors. your recordings will be hard to mix on bad speakers.

You could also get a control surface, to mix with. any questions e-mail me
SRVMAN has it right, best slow blues song is "Lenny" by SRV
Spanish Castle Magic - Jimi Hendrix
I hate to sound obvious, but its just wire. Go to a store that sells electronic parts like resistors, potentiometers (pots), transistors, and ask them for some wire for soldering a toggle switch. Hope this helps.

Go with seymour duncans, for shred or the dimarzio evolution they have a great frequency range. Do you have humbuckers, or single coils? Humbuckers are great for shred
So What kind of music do you play? and maybe the rest of us could help yah!!!
