i was thinking that slipknot thing too lol but it terms of what youre talking, Black Sabbath. i mean not only the original metal, but c tuning? and back then there was no distortion, you just cranked the amps all the way up and let her scream
Schindler's List
Breakfast Club
King of Kong
The Hurricane (if it's the movie about the boxer, if not i don't know what movie this is)
Raging Bull
Taxi Driver
Jarhead
Enemy of the State
28 Days Later
Training Day
if you watch 28 days later, watch 28 weeks later aswell, and your teacher might be impressed by your initiative
How old are you? 18

Where do you live? (i.e. America, Britain, France, etc. I don't need specifics) Canada

What is the approximate size of your music library? (In gigabytes) 22.4 on my computer, but i have many actual cds that i haven't ripped

What is the approximate size of your CD collection? (In albums i.e. 15) approx 40-50

Choose one of the following questions to answer:

a) Do you predominantly priate music, and if so, how? (P2P, Torrents, friends, bootlegs, etc) yes, i generally use torrents to download the whole cd
b) Do you predominantly buy your music, and if so, what platform do you buy your music on? (CD, Downloads)
c) Do you both pirate and download your music, and if so, what platforms?

If you pirate music, why do you? usually it's to see if i like a band, and if i do, i might buy their next cd, or a shirt, or go to their next concert, besides, they make more money off merch than record sales anyhow

If you buy your music, why do you? to support the band and to have a physical copy, sometimes the packaging helps, like the Death Magnetic packaging, also, things like bonus dvds that i likely wouldn't download cuz i'll only watch once and probably set aside

If you do both, why do you? i like to support the acts i like any way possible, at the end of the day, as long as you're listening to them, i'm sure the artists don't care personally

Finally, what is your overall opinion on music Piracy and your views on how it affects the music industry. overall it is what it is, a free method of getting music that has been going on for decades, back to the 80's and the days of tape trading, the only difference is it's on a much larger scale these days. it is bad for record label, but they're thieves anyways, most cds cost 20$, and thats kinda ridiculous
i personally prefer guitar world
play Frantic Disembowlment by Corpse
it adds character to the guitar
i don't know how to take it off though
Metallica use Gibbson too
get a jackson with a LFR
so my friend just downloaded CS3 Extended illegally cuz she's broke, and she needs a serial, or a way to hack it, i searched a bit, couldn't find anything specific, so if anybody knows of a crack that works, a link would be apreciated, thanks
get the rest of the halo series, you can skip the flood, but get Ghosts Of Onyx and Contact Harvest, i'm about half way through Onyx right now and i'm really liking it
you realise dark knight was like the 5th batman right?....
dimmu was on for about 45-50 minutes, i got their setlist, my prized peice of concert memorabelia, they played (just gonna write what's written on it)
INTRO
PROGENIES
VREDESBYRD
THE SERPENTINE OFFERING
THE SINISTER AWAKENING
REPTILE
KINGS OF THE CARNIVAL
SPELLBOUND
THE SACRILIGIOUS SCORN
PURITANIA
MOURNING PALACE
great show

so does anybody know if they do let pictures?
to anybody thats gone to one of the shows for the tour, is the management letting you bring in cameras? because for The Blackest of The Black they didn't allow it which sucked cuz i couldn't snap any Dimmu pics....lots of people aren't allowing it these days
to anybody thats gone to one of the shows for the Meshuggah tour, is the management letting you bring in cameras? because for the Blackest of The Black they didn't allow it which sucked cuz i couldn't snap any Dimmu pics....
tonight i'm going to Blackest Of The Black in Montreal
i'm curious if anybody has been to any of the other shows cuz i'm wondering what dimmu's setlist was gonna be like, i really wanna hear kings of the carnival creation, but i'm thinking they might just play stuff from in sorte diaboli...

Wait They Broke Up? When?

last night is technically when they broke up, great show
bart broke his knee recently and halfway through the set he was in crazy pain and fell down, and he played the rest sitting down, and he still owned
i don't spell check, too lazy, don't like it too bad, not my problem if i have like one letter wrong, everybody understands that it's supossed to say the, and it's Glen Danzig's tour
hey guys, i was wondering if anybody has seen Dimmu live recently, i'm gonna see them in Montreal on the blackest of teh black tour, and i was wondering if they were gonna play some old songs aswell or just stuff off In Sorte Diaboli
final show tomorrow night
live in MTL with Despised Icon, Plasmarifle, Neuraxis, and somebody else whom i forget right now

anybody else going?
i have a girlfriend and the internet, so no
it's funny how he hates bassists, but owns a Mark Hoppus sig bass.....f*ckin hipocrits
at a big retail place they're probably just set up to say they're playable. but at my local shop, it's just somebody that owns it, he sets everything up well, and if you wanna try the guitar with a different action if nobodies busy they'll change it for you
we should somehow keeps those people out of our country...
explorer in my opinion is one of the greatest shapes ever, i would go with teh explorer

Its a band name....

yes it is, but why sin't it censored, if you censor one letter we still get the idea, i'm not offended or anything, i just find it kinda weird
ya, i was right, he's playing the geeetar
i can't watch the vid here

but he plays guitar usually
i try to live my life by it
i don't know where you guys might be getting off who will diss it
it depends on the the general sound of your pickups and amp, my friend used to do that when he had his line 6 uber metal pedal, and it sounded not bad, i kinda do it too, i like it more for really heavy distortion though, it doens't sound that great on lighter distortion

You should go to the thread coincidentally called the Metal Recommendations thread at the top of the page.

i also agree with this
it depends how badly you want the guitar
but i would definately get a 360 is i was you, sooner or later it's the way to go, Xbox Live is the greatest thing since the internet itself
and on the guitar side of things, if you do get a guitar instead, definately go for the dinky, i love mine
i voted p90

but best weapon in my opinion was the shotty
nice song, boring performance, but it'll come obviously, song wise i'd give it a 4/5 considering you're a new band and all
the jim root or john 5 tele's, theres also some other good ones, browse the fender website
well if he wants a pure br00tal guitar the 8 string is the only way to go
d'addario's don't last more than about 2 months, but while they last they sound great, they're my prefered strings, i don't mind changing them monthly or bi-monthly though, but wipe your strings after, it'll help
i would give a kidney and some liver, and donate a bunch of semen, i would definately keep my penis, arms, legs, and hair
