edit: Also, on the most basic level imaginable, what's heavier than rock? Metal. Duh.

This is how I always figured.
Here's what to do if you want to participate!

1. Ask for a spot in this thread.
2. Make an account on 8tracks. (You'll be on the site to listen)
3. Make a playlist of music (can be non-hardcore/punk) of at least 8 songs on the site, and please try to keep it not too long, 40 minutes might be where you may want to chop it up a bit.
4. Make the thread when it's your turn!

So here's a pretty short playlist, 8 tracks in about 18 minutes. Enjoy

Hey that's right, I'd forgotten about that. Let me know when you do start gigging man, I'll come out and catch a show.
That would have been a decent song without the breakdown at the end. And what's this band you're in now haha?

I got the big pre order package in the mail from B9 today. Still yet to hear it (except Killin It and Screams in Caves)

Me too man, might spin it tomorrow if I get time.

And Magero-man:

This isn't that good, but at least I tried. I can't do breakdowns but I think one should go at the end.

XHateMoshx

Yeah we're hitting a show on a Friday Night
Feeling pretty tough, we're looking for a fight
The venue's a pub, that shit isn't cool -
'cause alcohol, yeah it ain't our fuel!

There's a bar at the back that we won't ignore
The breakdowns hit and we're punching the floor
The drunks are moving from the bar to the pit
That's all it takes for us to lose our shit

Two-step
Windmill
Spin Kick
Hate mosh
@Jay Yeah I'm more excited to hear Elsie honestly, I've just been too broke to buy it
Jay, waiting for the new PBC to get here in the mail so I can listen to it first time through on vinyl. I'm saving all judgement til then haha. Same with Elsie, in fact. So the two albums I've been looking forward to most this year have been out for weeks and I'm yet to hear either

And tempest, no worries The one thing that I think might improve it would be a bit more of an ending. Even just changing the drums behind that last tapping riff could work, I think.
Cool song, Jay. And I liked yours too, tempest.
I liked your page Dylan, and I dig the beats.

Can you re-up your ep? :3 It's on my old computer and I did not save it

I re-upped it not so long ago, here.

We get Headaches, who are pretty good from memory.
Unlucky dude. I'd gladly go back and ditch on my formal for a show.

I've still got to get tickets for thursday yet. I might be dragging my girlfriend along too haha.
I went and did a Guitar Pro tab for Sunshine, if anyone is interested in that kind of thing.

For sure dude, that works.

What'll it run us for two +shipping?
If it doesn't cost much to ship one down here I'll grab one dude. Digging the new Think Again songs too.
Haha I don't know if it's serious, I think the dude does metal lessons on this site so maybe it actually is...

No I couldnt make it, which sucks. I had work till 4 and I wouldve had to catch the train up to Brisbane, so yeah no chance of getting there in time.

Did you go? Did it rule?

I went to the acoustic show, yeah. It was really good, they played a few songs off the new album (which I don't have yet ), Only Boundaries, a Smiths Cover and some song of the singers that he'd never played before.

One of the worst Australian bands, Crafter sucks etc.

This.

Hey were you at Balance and Composure today?
Yeah I just got a pre-paid credit card to buy it, doing it now. Getting the big package plus that 7" that I didn't get yet.
Aw thanks mang, you didn't have to go and give me your go haha.
Ah yeah sign me up anyway Ian.
I'd sign on for one, but I'll probably forget by the time it comes around.
Two days 'til free Balance and Composure, you still coming up for this Brad?
Boyan's allowed to listen to deathcore though, it's all just a part of his mosh-lord training.
I like that statues band, cheers. I should edit some of the bands that have cropped up the last couple of years into the OP maybe, though I'm not sure if people pay attention to it any more haha.
Well I really want to see Title Fight, and I've been waiting for a while haha. So I won't miss this one.

Also, I just realised I missed Doomriders too....
That's so expensive, even like PWD don't charge that much. And yeah I also forgot about Comadre 'til the day it was on.
How much did you pay for tickets Brad? I've still got to get mine.

Did anyone go / is anyone going to comadre and quiet steps? I was stupid and didn't go to the Brisbane show.

Can't stop listening to screamo. Literally can't stop. For weeks and weeks I have listened to nothing but Suis La Lune and Funeral Diner. Anyone have any emo recommendations? I will obviously go to the emo forum, but I'd rather recommendations from people who like the heaviest music ever made, don't want some indie kid to rant about whats cool and underground. I have Cap'n Jazz, Sunny Day Real Estate and American Football.

On topic, university is bullshit, I to commute from the central coast to Newcastle which is about 100km if not a bit more, I have to walk 20 minutes to the bus stop, catch a 20 minute bus, get an 1.5 train to newcastle, change trains and get a 5 minute one to the university, and then walk 20 minutes. That's not to say that the trains never ever meet up, I usually have to wait 20 minutes between each train. I started at 8am yesterday, got the 4.55 bus from my house to get there. Finished at midday, got home at 3.30.

Loma Prieta, Maths and Capsule are three good bands.

And I thought I had it bad with an hour and a half each way, that sucks dude.
All I see is a box with 30C4 in it for his face.
I've got the most limited pressing of each record they've done with b9 so far, and I wanted to continue with this one. But they don't seem to have pressing info anywhere :S
I wasn't that big on that song, but I'll probably pre-order the 7" tonight sometime anyway.
