Haha, thanks for the answers!
Does anybody have an overview of the best/worst years for these two brands?

Er..whenever i've seen my friends do it, it's been the little lump way.
Break them up into bits, spread across the joint, and roll.

Also, guys!

Thanks man! SWIM just spent 68 bucks on 2,2 grams of something I hope is worthwhile, so don't wanna **** it up in any way

SWIM was wondering how you guys make your hash joints? Do you warm it under a lighter mush it in the tobacco(or weed, we use tobacco in Europe), or do you warm it up and make induviduall little lumps which you spread in the tobacco?
I use normal size rizlas with filter, and use this method to smoke, does the tightness of the rolling effect the...effects in any way?
If I'm writing a little retarded it's because im hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh..

A little help DT?

Ibanez's low end guitars are quality axes, my friend! The RG321MH is a great guitar and it's really cheap.

why not just find some people you actually jam with in person?

Because it's not as easy as it sounds for some people. Also, this is a task that can be done at night, which is usually when I do my playing.
Difficulty is relative though, so somebody is going to grade the songs by difficulty or do we go by general opinion and suggestions? I really think this would be great! Even if we only got 5-6 to get on it, it would be tons of fun and rewarding as well!
I'm a guitarist who values great technique and I can say that 'sloppyness' only contributes to Hendrix expression. There's not one person who can perfectly emulate Hendrix and that's admirable.
You seem to have found your style. Hit it big dude, really like your stuff.

Thanks for the crit. yes all of my covers are done in one or two takes, Im not a perfectionist, and grunge to me is imperfect so thats usually how I do it lol, I just dont have tons of time to do multiple takes and neighbors are always a problem but thanks for the crit I really appreciate it. Btw, I tried to listen to your song but youtube said the video was removed by the user?

Hopefully one day ill land a band gig with my voice, maybe play some rhythm too. think that is a possiblility? never have played with anyone, hell no one has ever heard me sing besides you guys not even my girl lol.

That's a good possibility! Get some flyers out on town and search the scene. A band with original material and your voice would be awesome! I wish I had some one with a voice like that to start a band with, so just try to get out there

and the correct link for my little song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKkbbv8cVgE
I think you sound a little like Cantrell and a little like Layne on that recording. I really dig AIC. I thought some parts were a bit bad, but some parts were VERY IMPRESSIVE(of the vocals.). Keep working on it, I think you really have some great potential here, just work out some bumps. I really liked the guitar playing, good work and very nice sound!

Feel free to comment on this little thing o' mine:

Edit* Checked out some of your other stuff too, really impressed by your voice! Very good! Grungeish, and I dig that
Thought the first 45 seconds were brilliant. The way you mixed chords with some solo in it. Liked the original sound of it, sounds very 60s and a bit psychedelic. But extend it, have some central theme you can go back and forth on. It would be awesome. And I recommend try experimenting by recording several guitars and layer them to widen the wall of sound and soundscape in general.

Check out min if you're interested, not psychedelic here, more of a pop-rock/love song thing going on :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKkbbv8cVgE
Very good! Liked the backing guitar and the solo playing. I liked how it just punched through the soundscape at certain moments, and I think the playing was superb, tight, catchy and fitting! Love the way the whole thing came together!

Comment mine if you want

I was in the same position. I considered myself a blues player even though I was a metal fan and played some metal(mainly Pantera). What happend was, I knew how to play metal...without the techniques. But thankfully the band had an excellent lead guitarist whom is also a great rythem player. He taught me some gallops, that I should practice downpicking, pinch harmonics and general cleaness in the riffing department!
Very good sound! You nail some bends like there's no tomorrow, but a few(very few) are off. Also, I'm not sure, but there may be some timing issues. But overall the flow is amazing, you do this solo a hundred times better than I do! Great and suiting vibrato, your bend and vibrato is very good too! Once again, I have to compliment you on the sound. What kind of guitar is that by the way? I'll be checking your other vids too, keep that guitar screaming man!!
Thanks for the comment! I know, the pick sounds hehe I had the Mic by the side of my laptop and was playing a little too close to the microphone, I'll keep that in mind next time. Do you have anything you'd like me to comment on?
Hello there! I'm an avid PF fan, so I recorded myself playing the CN solo I used youtube as a backing track, so it's a bit crappy. But some constructive criticism on the playing would be very nice(phrasing, vibrato etc.)

It's in my profile

Thanks in advance people!
Thanks for the crit! I agree, the song never really goes anywhere, but this was just for fun In the original song, the riff played at about 50 minutes in is the main verse riff with vocals over it, complete with a chorus etc. But in this one I should've had a climax towards the end :P Once again, thanks for the crit!
Really dig it! Not a big fan of the drums, but the guitar went so good with the music! I loved the intro especially. I like the part around the 01:18 mark, the synth there was really nice and subtle A nice theme going through the whole song with the piano, king of a cozy melody. Great quality on the recording too.

Re-recorded the song with some new recording gear check it out, C4C
Thanks for the nice crit I ended it abruptly, cause it was so late in the night and I'm still working on the "real song". I want a powerfull chorus. This was really just a king of "Intro/semi verse" thing

Any more critic? I'll give crit back
The song was a little weird, but different! Kind of entertaining ^^ The drum sound could be improved, and the whole thing could be tightend up a bit! Otherwise, nice going !
Here is a new band inspired by the likes of Kyuss, Electric Wizard and such, they're from Norway too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VowmWC7Zxw
Bulk was recently in Weed, USA to record their debut record with producer Sylvia Massy(Tool, Prince, Johnny Cash, System of a Down). Their music is kind of a mix of everything: Pantera, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Black Label Society and the whole works.

They made a mini-documentary with the band, featuring Sylvia Massy and the whole band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VowmWC7Zxw
This is a instrumental version of a love song I wrote for my girlfriend, please give me some constructive criticism You give, me I give you

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKxeFHK26rM

The sound quality is a bit bad at places due to the fact that I recorded the thing on a Singstar mic and I edited the thing on Adobe Audition, so the tempo is off in some places.

In advance, thanks!
I'm currently working on what I expect to be a long instrumental piece which I will solo over.

Go to: http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/wyldelife/ and check out Epose part I.

The first couple of riffs I'm sure about, but what comes after that is an Em chord and some other chords and I'm not sure they fit. Need some advice!

Thanks in advance
Don't forget to check out their newest albums, Fear of a Blank planet and The Incident. I love the Floyd(my favorite band, actually) and I dig PT for different reasons.
Finding the undiscovered pieces

Waiting.
Never reaching out.
Bound to the ground.
I know.

Caught in a battle of will,
to break free from the spell
of mankinds decease.
I think.

The chances are, there's still something left to discover.
Don't fear a thing, take the leap, you'll recover.
I swear

As you glide through the air,
moments before death.
You close your eyes
I see

Long enough, eyes kept shut.
What good did looking do.
When I killed you in the end.

I lied.
Unwilling to deal

An arrogant ****, unwilling to deal!
Shooting down the last sheds of hope.
Like putting a bullet through your brain,
I think your reasoning is ****ed, insane!

Your life, your choices!
Choose the way you want to walk!
With pride, with shame.
0r turn back the way you came.

In isolation, build your fortress of strength.
A mountain within.
Everything seems stronger, when you're alone.
Nobody to look down on you.

When in public, be an object of hate.
An arrogant ****, unwilling to deal!
Negativity spreads like decease,
your goal is never to please

Your life, your choices!
Choose the way you want to walk!
With pride, with shame.
0r turn back the way you came.
Liked the vocals, could've used a little more drive in the song Screams and Shouts, but it was an enjoyable song I liked "State of mind" a lot
Sure thing man, will try it out! C4C'ing you as we speak
Thanks man, I'm gonna try it out!
It's Doctor Derchs on my profile. Just a random solo thing with a lot of techniques thrown in. It's a few months old now, and I've evolved my soloing technique to a more..less stressed one. I've also gone more into the blues area of things, but you can also hear some blues elements here(I don't know anything else ;D).

So tell me what you think
Go to my profile and check out "Untitled". I'm having trouble after the intro I've written, it's about 25 seconds in. After that I go into a E chord or Em I think, but that doesn't fit. Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance!
Going to Amsterdam soon. Good things to buy? I have a relative tight budget, so I want some good weed for some cheap prices, also places to go, thanks!
Interesting man Love the bios here.
Don't have much of my own, just got out of my first real band, and right now I'm writing acoustic things, putting my metal career on the shelf for a while. I'm moving to a bigger town this fall to get an education in music, so I hope to find some like minded musical induviduals to play with there
Just so you know it. Sold my Soul is really an acoustic Zakk Wylde tune. What he did there was improvising over the backing track of the original song and playing the songs solo plus some extra stuff. But just do like all the smart guys above me told you to
Nirvana - Unplugged
Alice in Chains - Unplugged
Pantera - 3 Videoes from hell
Pink Floyd - Live in Pompeii
Pink Floyd - PULSE

I've got Live at Reading with Nirvana and Live in Europe 1968 with The Doors waiting for me, haven't watched it yet, I think Reading will be plenty nice, and Europe 1968 will be a live treat but nothing more.
