Any trades?

I have a microcube + some cash?
A swimming pool next time eh?
Someone help me do the north UG logo please
Because people are willing to pay twice as much for standard... Duh...
From my own experience, a decent vocalist is a rare breed. Crappy rhythm guitarist can improve, however a crap vocalist....
There are tons of guitars you can try out.

Ibanez Prestige
Jackson MG series
etc...

Go and try them out!
Looks like a Gibson LP Classic to me.
Hmmm... Interesting, I'm thinking of building one myself too

It has been done before.

I kind of planned one myself as well

Hi, here's my plan. Hope you like it (BTW, all done using MS paint. I suck)

So, yeah.

Violin style body with single cutaway
Solid carved mohagany stained with flamed maple back and side
Walnut single binding around the body
Dials recessed into the body
Wirings done under the pickups and through the input jack??? possibly? Like LP Supreme?

Set neck construction.

Flamed maple neck with rosewood fretboard
22 jumbo frets
Les paul supreme style inlay mother of pearl/abalone combination
Headstock as shown below. Flamed, matching body colour
self-locking tuners

Bridge style as shown below

HH combo pickups
neck: SD jazz
bridge: SD 59
Both with bronze cover

bronze dials
and cream pickup selector
All LP style
position as shown in pic.

Please ignore the headstock of the violin. It is not easily altered in MS paint.
I've sold my MG10 for 35 pounds on ebay when it was around 50 new. Loads of noobs will buy it.
I've been using it for a while now. Pretty good for a free program. Shame you can't control the volume of individual instruments.

To copy, just use control+v
WOW. I know it has been said a thousand times, but... Great build man!!!

It makes me want to start one myself.

Thanks
Holy ****! Castration!!!
I like neck through ones, with glossy neck
I fail to see how sports is related to politics.

I can read music very well, just I am not terribly great at pointing at a fret on the guitar and saying "That's a C" or whatever. I know the notes for the first four or so frets of each string, though.
I read treble and bass clef for playing keyboard in my band.
I used to think I couldn't sight read, then I realised that I had my standard grade (gcse, just scottish) music exam one day, and I hadn't practiced atall. So I just sight read my way to victory, and I got the best possible grade!

Yup. That's me

I can use sheet music for piano, but I still need to work the notes out for guitar.
I'll think about it.

Free bump for you.
Interested in the EVO bridge pickup and Schaller locking tuner. Can you drop the price a little?

I can only get the intro done.

Can someone tab this out please?
My face doesn't go red at all.

However my ears do. They burn like hell!
Like broady said. Natural frequency. Different wood have different structures, which can dampen certain frequencies and harmonise others.
I Okay

EDIT: Damn beaten by 3 people
There are always one or two nice threads that make me lol.

So... no.

How much are you willing to spend?

Caparison Horus is sort of similar. You can custom order as well.

http://www.kyowashokai.co.jp/caparison-eng/e-07product/e07horus.html

The LTD MH series looks quite similar. You can get one with see through black finish.

Also have a look at BC Rich Assassin. They are quite cool.
I think it looks hot.
7 String necks are thicker.
Go and try out the guitars yourself.

For over 500, you should really be aiming at MIJ or MIA guitars instead of Korean ones.

Go used if you can. There is some great deals in my local shop. They are currently selling a mint condition Ibanez RG7620 for 300 pounds. Too bad I don't have enough money.

Anyway. Look out for some crazy MIJ Ibanez or Jackson deals. They are worth the money.
Yeah. Same here. All I can do is Pentanic or Harmonic Minor solos. And they all sound pretty much the same.

It has improved a little though. Learn more songs from different artists and styles. Also try doing some chromatic runs here and there. Also learn your arpeggios well.
I thought you'd have to be over 13 to join... Hmmm...

Not trying to start an argument here, but the problem is hardly guitar related. It's not like you can do anything to your GUITAR to stop the rattling...

I think that looks nice as hell.

It's got a beautiful flame top, but still manages to remain classy...

EDIT: Bookmatched tops are nice, but far from a necessity...

My thought exactly.

Although I do have wierd taste. I like blue guitars.
Well, Edward LPs would be a good choice for you then. There is a wide range to choose from. MIJ as ESPs but less expensive.

If you are into more traditional LP feel, then there are Greco, Tokai, Burny, Orville etc. to try out.
They are cheaper actually. Depends on the guitar though.

I'd get some guitars that is only available to the Japan market, (Some ESPs, Edwards, Killer, J-custom etc.)

What kind of guitar are you looking for?

I'm actually leaning towards the Jackson, since it has those nice pick ups

Yes. I would as well.

Great bridge. Made in Japan. Can't beat that.

Also, don't bother with the LTDs that people have suggested, they are ****!

*realized*

Depends on when I realized, which happened to be the first time I heard "Pull Harder.." I actually thought it was a cover till the vocals kicked in.

UK's spelling is realised.

They sound pretty similar. But I don't think it's a rip-off.
