I think they used to have a factory in Fullerton, California. This is where they started out, and I am not sure when they moved to Corona. Yeah, now they only have the factory in Corona.

Who created numerous rock anthems with songs such as My Generation, Baba O' Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again? Who helped create the only band to rival Led Zeppelin? Who wrote numerous rock operas, including the first commercially successful one? Pete Townsend is one of the most influential people in rock period.

If you save a few more bucks, I would look at a Peavey Classic 30. You can get a good hard rock sound, and with an overdrive or distortion pedal, you probably could get a metal sound.
I also think that Dimarzio makes a PAF clone.
