I'm more interested in the mode than price though I just added that after, so you're saying standard mexican strat, possibly FSR?? I'll see what I can find about FSR's to compare
I traded a Jackson for this Mexican Strat last year and I'm considering selling it, but I can't find any info other than how it was made in Mexico in 2011/12 because of the serial number (starting MX11).

I can't work out anything other than how the finish is either blizzard pearl or white chrome pearl, that helps but I'm still struggling to get any further, any ideas on what it could be/ the value (£??

I'd realy appreciate anyones throughts on it, Thank ya!!
Hey i'm trying to work out why my ESP Horizon in snow white (used to be super paper white) has now faded to a yellow-y colour after leaving it in it's case for about six months, do you think there is a way to return it to it's old colour? I plan on selling it soon and I'm hoping it doesn't detract from what I could get for it (what do you think?) It's stronger than in these photos show I couldn't quite capture it.

Thanks I will see if I can find out which it is
I've had this guitar a couple of years and for the last six months to a year it's just been in it's case. I've recently got it out to check it's all okay and what used to be the whitest white (dubbed 'pimp white') it's now taken on a cream/ yellow colour, but because it's a super gloss finish it doesn't look like a nice fade on a Fender, it looks tacky. Has anybody ever experienced this with glossy guitars, and is there any way to recover the old colour or am I stuck with this???

The photos aren't as great as they could be, I've tried to compare the whites with the paper pa next to it, the fade is uneven and the yellow is stronger in certain places compared to others. It's much worse than the photo shows...

I wanted to make a thread about my research project but I thought it was a bit cheeky considering I don't use UG so much anymore, if anyone has a spare two minutes this would really help my uni work! About the link between music theory and improvisation on guitar https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RTQM3T9
Warranty will be out by now,
No it's the original (I believe) from a few years back,
They would be about a year,
Fuse in the back seems fine,
I think the pre amp tubes are glowing,
not sure how to check the fx loop!
The power/ standby lights on my Bugera 333xl work on the front of my amp, but recently I haven't been able to get any sound out of it. The power tubes don't glow at all, Is this likely to just need new valves?

I've had the amp a couple of years and replaced them once myself about a year ago, nothing has happened to it that I can think of that would cause problems recently.

Thanks!

Buy them all! ^

My Fun club 7" vinyls came the other day, really cool! I was watching CRU on ebay a few weeks back as well but missed it by three minutes I was gutted! i'm going to have to just keep an eye out because I doubt many people are selling them anymore, I think they were limited as well? Pre ordered Funemployed though to make up for it, I love this bands way too much.
New track is up here http://www.rocksound.tv/m/news/article/stream-a-brand-new-gnarwolves-track-with-rock-sound

Saw them for the second time last night with The Story So Far, sick as ever!
Going to bump this. The EP is up at napoleonuk.com and their new song is here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4FvDAuK7pw

They've been touring with Being As An Ocean, got a Parkway Drive support slot, working on a full length and are touring with Heart In Hand amongst a load more! Easily my favourite 'upcoming' UK band, a shame josh their vocalist for the EP/ Brought Here To Suffer has left but they've got a cover and are looking for a replacement now.
I've just discovered Lower Than Atlantis so I thought they would be appropriate for a first cover, check it out and let me know what you think!

Thanks for listening, 720p is there for better video quality as well.

I'm planning on making covers regular so are there any suggestions on how to improve? I'll record in a different format next time because this one for some reason wouldn't open in editing programs for titles or fades, so it's just the clip straight from the camera.
Interested in the Fender, could we get a photo please?
Samsung Galaxy Ace/ Ace 2
I've got my ESP LTD MH401QM in See Through Blue for sale.

Check here for details.
The guitar in my avi is my Jackson, not the ESP
I'm selling my ESP LTD MH401QM Blue.

The guitar is in good condition and has not been gigged. There are general usage marks but it is in very good shape.

The Floyd Rose has been blocked, but this is reversible.

I'm in Cornwall, UK. I won't be able to post this unless your own courier can be arranged.

I'm looking for £370.

Photos can be found here.
Still got the LTD H1001? Any chance I could get some pictures? Thanks
I've found that for me, the little disposable foam ear plugs that you squash work fine, for both practicing and gigging. I'm sure you can get better out there but they're cheap and do the job well. I tried buying some at my local music shop that were a bit more expensive but none of them fit as well as the foam ones so i've just stuck to them
I'm considering getting a line of local bands song which says 'Remember embrace the rest of your life' on the underside of my forearm and i'm just wondering what you guys think of it. I know it's not art like many of the designs in the thread, but i'd like to get it as a first tattoo when I turn 18, before I save up for more quality pieces as I grow up. It don't see myself regretting it in the future because it's positive and links into a few little things that have all happened recently. Opinions?

Pretty much like this
Thanks for that link, the guide on there helped
I've found information on the adjustment that uses a multimeter though a socket on the outside of the amp so I don't have to take it apart instead of a bias probe. I'm going to try that as although people say it's off, it would be better than leaving it as it is. Then i'll try get it to a tech to bias it properly after the gig because I can't before.

I've swapped the tubes now, just not done anything with it. Any links to more articles that describe what to do because what I've found is a bit vague :/
I had Bugera EL34's in before and now have JJ EL34's to put in. Would I be ok just to switch them around and leave the bias knob in the same position because it worked for the last set of tubes? it's a quarter turn from the left, if that makes sense.
Thanks, hopefully I can work it out!

Edit: Ok so I know where to adjust it now, how do I know what number to change it to? (yes very vague/ poor knowledge of Biasing)
Just wrote a thread with this in it, but thought i'd post it here for more suggestions as well as you guys are more likely to know

I've bought myself some new JJ EL34 tubes to replace my tubes on my Bugera 333xl because the last ones blew during recording a few weeks ago. I've had the Bugera just over a year now so i've been told I shouldn't be worried about other problems and that they were just worn.

I have a gig tomorrow night and heard that I should be able to bias it myself with a voltmeter, but after a little research now it seems that I need a bias probe which I can't get hold of before the gig.

Is there any way I can safely bias the EL34 tubes in my Bugera 333xl without a Bias Probe?

I searched but found nothing specific to this amp, and saw in other threads that did mention the 333xl that it was limited (or something similar) so it's a little different.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

So I would be alright to buy the 'Matched Quad' option of these or these ?

What does it mean when it says *Requires matching*? I know I need 4 matched tubes but I don't know if I buy them like that or it is done through something I do when I receive them? also whats up with the different types of 'current draw'?

Thanks
Thanks, I presume JJ is a type and not brand?

I didn't quite understand gear websites with tubes so I just searched Ebay, i'm presuming these aren't as good as shop one though?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JJ-EL34-Valves-Tubes-matched-QUAD-4-Valve-Amp-set-/230672789482?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_HomeAudioHiFi_Amplifiers&hash=item35b52b6fea#ht_2752wt_1091

How much more would I be expected to pay for some from an online shop/ how much better would they be?

Links would help loads, thanks again
I need to replace the tubes on my Bugera 333xl, as far as I know I need 4 EL34 tubes but i'm not sure what exactly to look for.

I heard something about them all needing to be matched but again i'm unsure on this.

Would somebody be able to point out some cost effective tubes (in the UK) that I can replace my blown ones with? I'm not going to able to spend loads of them and need to get it sorted as soon as possible so any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Bump. Anybody interested PM me please. Not often on here anymore.
