i hate those jock kids that bring their acoustics to school, and when a girl asks him if he can play all he does is strum a few chords and the girls get all wet and ****

I...Hate...Jocks!!!
They're arrogant idiots and they have no personalties of their own.
I hate them and the sycophants they surround themselves with.

FYI, there is a difference between an athlete and a jock.

That I only play the guitar to get chicks.

Chicks?
Black Flag's "Slip It In" would be a good choice.

Death by overdose in a party:
-Rock'n'Roll All night - KISS

Death by Suicide:
-Valentine's Day - Marilyn Manson
(Slit my wrists, and send me to heaven. The first flower after the flood)

Re: "Rock 'n' Roll All Night"
It would be funnier if the song ended abruptly.
I own a Grunge, why would you get rid of a near-perfectly good distortion pedal?

Dr. Alfred Kinsey created a scale, graduated between heterosexuality and homosexuality, to rate individuals on actual experiences and psychological reactions. The ratings are as follows:

1. 0: Entirely heterosexual.
2. 1: Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual.
3. 2: Predominantly heterosexual, but with a distinct homosexual history.
4. 3: Equally heterosexual and homosexual.
5. 4: Predominantly homosexual, but with a distinct heterosexual history.
6. 5: Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual.
7. 6: Entirely homosexual

Dr. Alfred Kinsey 's scale has been outdated for at least 30 years.

deep purple?

No. This isn't a quiz. I don't know the answer. That's why I asked for help. I don't mean to sound like an asshole but don't post unless you have an answer; I don't want to waste my time with guesses. If somebody could go play this on guitar and see if they recognize it, I would really appreciate it.

Once again, I apologize for the curtness of this post but I'm really frustrated with this song. It's been going through my mind for months.
Does anybody know what song this is?

i want to get a fuzz box to make that old school classic rock sound like a jimi hendrix type of sound and so on but what are some good boxes to get and am trying to spend only around 100

The Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi (US) was modeled after Jimi's tone. It's cheap ($79.99 new) and reliable. I suggest you try one out.

I want it to be understood that I started this thread not out of ignorance, but out of interest. I have my opinions, and I think them to be valid enough, but I wanted it straight from a bisexual. lol.

I'll delete this bitch before it gets as big as my other thread. That forum ain't gay enough for the both of them.

My diatribe wasn't directed at you. It was directed at people I have personally heard make comments of an ignorant nature about bisexuals and bisexuality.
Speaking as a independent party (I'm gay), I would like to point out that there is more to human sexuality then just straight or gay. Just because you don't understand it doesn't make it weird. I'm tired of the ignorance. People don't understand bisexuality so they treat as though it doesn't truly exist ("they're just closet gays/straights",etc.) Stop looking at bis as though they're oddities. We're all odd anyway.

1)I prefer antisolos.

2)All of Black Flag's "The Process of Weeding Out" from "Live '84".

It's true, that's a direct quote.

Isn't it in the bible too?
1) Come as You Are - Nirvana - This Nirvana offering takes me into another world. This is the song that made me want to play guitar. Absolutely sublime. Nirvana's magnum opus.

2) Slip It In (Live '84 version) - Black Flag - One of the most fun songs to play. Huge influence on my playing style.

3) The Process of Weeding Out (Live '84 version) - Black Flag - In all its atonal glory. Proof that Greg Ginn is the Jimi Hendrix of punk rock. An equally immense influence on my playing style.

4) Rotten Apple - Alice in Chains - One of AIC's saddest songs. Moving bass line by Mike Inez. And yet another amazing performance by Layne Staley.

5) Even Flow - Pearl Jam - An incredibly well written song. Stunning in its beauty. Challenging to sing, but rewarding.
Please post any thoughts, opinions, or memories of the 1980s Atlanta Hardcore scene as well the current Atlanta music scene (any genre).

Tell me what pisses you off the most while playing guitar.

My all time piss offs:

- When I have to retune my guitar or simply want to do a 1 step down tuning -> FLOYD ROSE, yEAH!!

- when I look down to my guitar and i see all the dust and dirt between the knobs and in the bridge because the sun is shining into my room...

- when I sit there.. and just dont know what to play.. everythings boring.. but i want to play..

Tell me YOURs

I hate tuning too. But, I have a solution to your problem. Buy a Boss PS-5 Super Shifter. You can use it to change the tuning and emulate a bass.

So,I'm playing a decent sized show soon
I don't want to look bored
It's Progressive Hardcore.
So,What is there to do besides guitar spins?

Don't play to the crowd. That's one of the reasons us punks don't like larger shows; when people are on a large stage, they have a tendency to act like rock gods. Just let the crowd know that your into your music without acting larger than life.
