Ok I recently got Amplitube 2.1.2 and plugged in to the mic input on the back of my computer(not the best i know), and the effects and everything sound great, but i hear both the dry(plugged straight in) and the wet signals together. How do I eliminate or combine the dry signal with the wet. I've searched around and I think it has something to do with "Direct Input Monitoring" but I don't know how to disable this on XP, all I see are solutions for Mac users.
Looking to do something like Malodorous, Devourment, Cephalotripsy, Maruta, etc....
This is gonna be an online collaboration, so it doesn't matter where you live/dwell, just as long you've got creativity and descent equipment. I'm a guitarist, but I also have a bass, and have experience programming drum machines(I am in possession of some also). So if you have some recording equipment that would be awesome too, all i have is a small boss recorder, but we could figure something out.

I write a ton of music and also use guitar pro to write songs, so it would be easy to work on songs together.

Lets make some ####ing heavy music!!!
Beneath the Massacre - Nevermore. Not hardcore I know, but its in a crazy time signature and the snare hits at such a weird time. Pure awesomeness.
Yeah the rg7321 is by far the best 7 string for the price, but if your looking for a FR, then the next ibanez with one is one of the s series models(dont remember the exact model number) for about 600 which is around the same price for a schecter with the floyd also. Personally ive owned both a schecter and ibanez 7 string, and I like the ibanez better, mainly because of playability. To me the schecter's neck is to thick and too wide, and if your not used to a 7 then it might make things more difficult.

do you need to have EZ drummer before you can get EZ drummer from hell?

Yeah actually you do, Drum kit from hell is an add on to EZ drummer(just like Nashville, Claustrophobic, etc....).
I think its do ya do ya want my love by ELO, except the last measure should be the same as the first. Of course alot of songs use those chords, so it could be something else.
I'll take a look, my buddy is in love with this band.
Anything by Dying Fetus or Decapitated.
Try Beneath the Massacre, The Faceless or Necrophagist. They all have tons of tabs here and are extremely hard to play.
Yeah I'd love to see some tabs as well, I think most guitarists are hesitant since all their songs involve heavy synth work.
I believe your problem is that you are posting in a guitar forum, asking for the tab to a absolutely deplorable song by none other than the biggest abomination to have ever been witnessed in the entire guitar universe.

I have been trying to understand something:

How do people "know" pi?

I mean, it is irrational and transcendental, so how did people "got" it or figured it out?
Did they just do empirical experiments over and over trying to get the ratio?
Or is there a mathematical way to find it?

Yes there are several ways to find it. They all involve numerically solving formulas, one of the first and most famous was: pi/4 = 4arctan(1/5) - arctan(1/129) with the taylor series arctanx = x - x^3/3 + x^5/5 - x^7/7. Another one is pi/2 = 1 + 1/3(1 + 2/5(1 + 3/7(1 + 4/9(1 +...)))) by newton

While I do agree that shredding can be a little barbaric and musically-lacking at times, metal is not a fad. You've got to realize, this is a high school thing, i remember when i went through it. You just latch on to the fastest guitarist you can find, and you automatically think he's the best, and that any form of music below that spends its time 200 bpm is sub-par.
Well first off, if the songs are going a little too fast for you, i would suggest acquiring guitar pro, since you can slow the songs down and practice them that way until you get up to speed. But take your time and learn it slowly, its takes time to gain proper technique(i mean how long had randy rhoades been playing when he wrote it). Also it takes a little bit to get pinch harmonics down, I had trouble when i tried to learn them as well, i think everyone does. Just be sure to hold your thumb STIFF while you do it, just pick and let the tip of your thumb graze the string as it passes over the string. Try doing this on different strings and frets such as: Low E, 3rd fret; G string, 2nd fret; A string, 3rd fret; also try it on the 12th fret(any string), it doesn't sound very good, but it may help you master the technique since it is the easiest to do.
Well like I've said in other forums, I cant speak for the cleans. But the GT3500 has the same circuitry as the older Ampeg vh-140 which was used by alot of death metal and grindcore bands like: Assuck, Suffocation, Misery Index, Dying fetus, Crowbar,... So if you like really heavy relentless tone go with it. Also pig destroyer and insect warfare use this same head. I think one of the guitarist from insect warfare is actually selling his on myspace.
It really depends on what you play, if your an all around player. Then maybe the 5150 would be better. But the shockwave has the same circuitry as the Ampeg vh-140, which was used by a ton of grindcore and death metal bands like Assuck, Suffocation, Dying fetus, Misery Index, Crowbar,.... So If you like the subtlety of tubes go with the 5150, if not go with the shockwave(Pig destroyer and Insect warfare use this same head by the way).
Man I love PD, they're drummer is amazing. He hits that snare so ****ing hard when he does blast beats its unbelievable. Ya'll should check out Cephalic Carnage, they freakin own.
Amazing studio work, I've really never heard clarity like that on a death metal album. Live, they were a little lacking, probably cause they were a Canadian band playing in texas in the middle of summer.
Pig Destroyer - Loathsome
Well, I recently asked myself that question, and from the photos i've seen: Michael keene uses a Line 6 Vetta HD head with Randell cabs and Washburn Wm series guitars, but im not sure what the other guitarist uses.
