You missed nothing special, I guess
The stereo electric mistress is a piece of digital crap. Get the DEM, it's awesome. Yeah, I think a new thread when this one gets closed down should be title "Gear for Experimental Music", and maybe us regulars could post helpful advice ONLY on the first page?
This thread is so slow now.... I suggest we reach 20k and start a new one, with all the knowledge we have accumulated being posted in the first few posts. Who gets 20k starts new thread?
Sorry, I guess I'm used to HCFX
Tom: I visited Belgium and Holland 4 years ago (not on bike, though), really liked them. Nothing beats Luxembourg though
I can. But more posts is fun
Hey Tom, btw, you still playing Cargo Bridge?
What part of mainland Europe, might I ask?
Troy - trust me, you don't want to know

there is a reverb with an effects loop

last one on here

379$
Looks awesome though.
I know that Hammonds are win. Wikipedia has some stuff about Hammonds.
But I dunno, there's so much stuff to them, the Leslie speaker, for instance.

Nick: I'm not such a big fan of reverb TBH, so I'm not a big fan of the spring chicken.
Now, if there were a reverb with an effects loop to process the reverb sound...
I'm hoping we reach it by the 1st of September, because after uni starts, my chances of getting on UG and getting the much-coveted 20k post will be slim.
I just hope the euro goes down and so does the dollar, and the ruble gets stronger. Just for a month, then I'd buy me lotsa gear in Finland.
I'm gonna do a huge video demo of my rig with only blues riffs
You're talking about the BOSS DeMarco?
Nick: I didn't say the demo was good. It's just that I'm OK with blues playing in pedal demos (when it suits the pedal).
I love blues. And I think some pedals should be tested with blues(-y) riffs.
And even a spring reverb, I'm fine with blues being played on it.
My RV-3 suits me just fine, I'm not a big fan of reverb anyway.

EDIT: At least the guy is better than THIS DeMarco: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRQJgZVxRX0

GAS is striking again. As in, I'm GASing for everything at once
Miss G, I posted the HCFX thread about it (the post above yours)
And I always think my amp is too dark. Well, not dark actually, but thick. With the LPB-1 on (which has a very low input impedance) it becomes a big fat roaring monster. Awesome.
No chance of recovering it?
OCD sounds too thick for me, in a bad way. I'm not a big fan of overdrive TBH, the only exception the TS9DX.
It looks cooler, imo.
And a bass control I need, imo. The new stuff is supposed to be released in September, including the somethingPisdiYAYuwot or whatever, their metal pedal. It sounds awesome, judging by the demos.
And no one noticed, but I have FREE SATURDAYS!
Oh btw, there's an Emma ReezaFRATzTITS v.2 coming out soon, I'll be getting it I think (directed at Nick)
Wow, Aidan, that's spooky

I like Daft Punk, but I'm not really a fan though.
EDIT: George, the Little Dipper sounds great. The reason you think so is because it is a formant filter whereas most other envelope filters only do the typical low/high/bandpass filtering.

Yeah, I know, but it still sounded awful. I guess I'm not into formant filters

Just got my timetable today: 8 lectures on Monday (in the building that's 2 hours away)
6 lectures on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (same building), 6 lectures on Friday (in a building that's 30 minutes away from me, and the lectures on Friday start at 11 a.m.). Saturday is free. WIN!
But the first semester seems to consist of algebra/mathematical analysis/analytical geometry/English/programming ONLY. Boring, I think.

Anyways, I've been on a huge Daft Punk kick lately. Anyone here a fan?

But yeah, I like them.

DAFT PUNK FTW! They're repetitive, but it doesn't get boring. Snuffing tobacco goes well when listening to "Around the World"

And the Little Dipper sounds like sh*t, imo And it costs 300$
Yeah, like a bad boss pedal
Night guys.
No, not buffered bypass, false bypass, my boy. Basically a small value capacitor into a resistor to worsen the tone a lot
How would it invert the phase?
I'm gonna post this on hcfx
I dunno, it doesn't have bypass at all.
This thing is a new meme in the Russian internet, it's everywhere now (on the Russian musical forums, at least)
I want to make a pedal where you can toggle between true bypass and false bypass
I live at home and will be living at home while attending university, so no gear problems
I'm starting uni on the 1st.
You haven't even gotten your results, Troy!!!
Good luck there, Dan!
FUNK FTW

EDIT: Andrew, at least I think so. God knows what kind of horrible functions I will encounter during uni.
