tell you what, this is a really good lesson. I'm left handed and play guitar left handed, I've always had trouble moving along the neck quickly and smoothly. This lesson is really badass for getting comfortable along the neck. Appreciate the lesson!

On the #1 what is the 5,6,7,8,9? I am very new and thought that if it's the fretting fingers they were numbered 1-4 and T for thumb???

Also, it's pretty much impossible to fret with your thumb. I've tried it, and I just looked and sounded like an idiot.

depends on the person, i know a guitarist who actually uses the thumb fretting on one of his songs... sounds awesome... im not even half as good as him, but im able to do thumb fretting coz i have long skinny fingers haha... anyways keep practicing u'll get it

This was excellent, but for how long per day should I do it?

even just 5 minutes a day is good. but it has to be everyday. short consistent daily practice is better than long periods once a week.
