In this lesson I will show how to dominate the guitar fretboard by using octaves and two string scales.
An octave is the distance between two notes that have the same name. In the case of a six string guitar we are going two use three string pairs: six and five, four and three, two and one. Those pairs of strings are going to allow us to play exactly the same thing, as long as we start our idea an octave higher. We can use the same fingering too!
This trick can work with any theme, lick, scale, etc. As long as you have only two strings involved.
