Following up on recent internet reports, Anthrax have announced that they have no plans to tour with Suicidal Tendencies and Overkill next year.

The band released this statement via Facebook:

Hey guys - we've been reading about this tour that we're supposed to be doing next year with Suicidal Tendencies and Overkill. While we love all those guys, we have no plans to tour together next year.

We've got all kinds of GREAT things that we're planning for 2018, but this tour is not one of them.

Anthrax

The Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies and Overkill tour, which was rumored to be taking place in the U.S. next spring, would have been the first time in about two decades that Anthrax had toured with those two bands. Overkill opened for Anthrax in 1986 on the "Spreading the Disease" tour in Europe; this was the first time both bands had toured there. Suicidal supported Anthrax on the "State of Euphoria" tour in Europe in 1989, and it was on that tour that Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian joined them on stage for a performance of "War Inside My Head".
