Melodic death metal tyrants Amon Amarth are proud to announce their 2011 U.S. headlining tour. Simply dubbed An Evening With Amon Amarth, this very special trek will find the band touring without support and instead performing two separate sets each night! One set will feature upcoming album Surtur Rising in its entirety.     Yeah, I was hoping to catch them at Le Medley in Montreal - like I have for the past few years. Fucking Love these guys! Last time some dude next to me kept feeding me and my buddies beer from a Horn-cup thing. Free Beer + Amon Amarth = WIN!!! Awesome!

    Please, please let them do this in Canada too. I like the idea of double sets, and wish I had gotten to see Opeth do it for their Blackwater Anniversary mini tour.
