Asking Alexandria singer Danny Worsnop recently explained how he's not a big fan of the Warped Tour, as well as metal music in general.
Asked about the festival tour by Under the Gun, Danny said, "I don't like Warped Tour. Love the people that put it on - not my kind of tour. I don't like any of the bands on it, and I don't like the ... it's very ... I don't know, there's a lot of young... a lot of young...
"Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I prefer this kind of environment [Mayhem Festival] with the older bands who are more mature. I have some great friends on Warped Tour but unfortunately, it's not my tour. Not my kind of tour."
Switching to the matter of metal music, the vocalist added, "I'm not a big metal fan. I spend most of my time pretty much just listening to a lot of Aerosmith and Van Halen, Def Leppard - stuff like that. That's generally my go-to music, and other than that like blues stuff and some country stuff."
Despite Danny not being too thrilled about it, Asking Alexandria have performed on Warped Tour back in 2011.
In recent news, Worsnop bashed today's rock scene as "monotonous," giving himself and the band a pat on the back for coming up with a "fresh sound." More on that here.
